MSc in Applied Conflict Transformation Peacebuilding
This module provides a comprehensive introduction to peace and conflict studies, exploring the complex relationships between conflict, violence, and peacebuilding. Students will examine the key concepts, theories, and frameworks that underpin peace and conflict studies, including conflict analysis, peacekeeping, peacemaking, and peacebuilding. Through a combination of lectures, group exercises, and case studies, students will develop a critical understanding of the complex issues surrounding peace and conflict and will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to analyze and address these issues in a variety of contexts.
